This is crazy. I am going to hk!! 25 may to 2 june. yes i know i'm crazy, over hk. I really wished to stay there. my hk dramas!! Actually, in may, supposed to have the school band trip. But they are taking TOO long to settle and confirm. It is really quite frustrating because i need to take leave and plan in advance. I really wanted to go with them, i have already planned to change my tix to cathay and fly to hk for 3d2n, from taiwan.
Then came that day when alice asked if i wanna go hk.
(just a quick note, dont need to even ask if i wanna go hk, because if any one of you are confirmed going to hk/confirmed planning a trip there, 90% chance i will go tog with you. - provided i have any more leave to take)
I said YES, let's go!!! and before i knew it, i booked the airtix. wah! i just went hk in 2008 for 2 whole weeks and now it is barely 2 years and i am gg back again :) if only airtix to hk is cheaper by 100+...
WOOHOO! super excited man! more shopping + eating and also, i wanna TRY to be like a hk-er. one thing for sure, we will be hiking! yeah, would it be like what i watched on dramas? haha! but hk mountains are really scary. they have this special rescue force (equipped with helicopters)to save those people who injured themselves during 'ba san'.
other than that, i will be going to camp outside TVB station. I wanna catch a glimpse (or more than one) of my hk actors :) please let me take a photo with at least one of them :) Also, i must go chill at lan kwai fong this time. I have been saying i wanna go there since dunno how long ago, but everything i didnt managed to do so.
i am going to shop for cheap deals... and buy stuffs from H&M + Espirit + Shops in Kwaifong, kwuntung and mongkok. clothes/bags/accessories!!! gosh, i think i must set aside 80% of my salary man! maybe should buy some nice bags since hk and airport have no tax :)
food: especially da da wan mian + extra serving of fried fish skin. I wanna eat za leong + hk ice lemon tea + qu lui shan + egg tarts!! and this time, i must try fried pigeons. Ok, before you all get disgusted, it is not the kind of pigeons we see in sg. their is a small kind of bird. it will be deep fried, so it tastes like chicken and super crispy (saw saw!). i ate once, but i forgot the taste le.
I am so going to supper every single night and most prob i will put on 5kg... maybe should go see see a mahjong house. hk has mahjong houses... concept is like kbox, just that u pay money to play mahjong.
Other than the usual places we are gg, i wanna visit temple street (mui gai), Dai-O and visit the Zi Wan Shan Fire station... all influenced by dramas!
in any case, i wished i could stay there abit longer la. see, i have so much things to do and so little time. but i need to come home. mama bday on 2june... although she told me to just go as long as i like.
oh yes, i will be visiting my hk colleagues too. just drop by and see the offices in hk. it is good to put a face to the voice. i have been tele conferencing with them for the past 4 mths and i really wanna know how they look like. most prob i will be bringing bengawan solo pandan cake and kueh lapis. my relatives like leh... so i assume all hk-ers will like. i guess i will visit them on the first day morning.

i have had one of the best weekends ever since i started working. Managed to nua in bed till 11am, have homecooked lunch at home.. Relaxing on sofa while reading the papers and eating current fav white chocolate crumble from gastomania at paragon. This feeling is so shiok, and i am beginning to have mon dark blues again.
Stuffs that i am looking forward to are:
1. Universal studioa on 28mar. Nick, edwin and mad, Im sorry i cant make it to mus art concert at the last min. I have to go uss. And it is either sat or sun. Ed, u will kill me if i chose to go uss on sat.
2. Gg to be confirmed hk trip. I am gg hk!! Yeah with alice and girls and im really excited! it
s hk sia! Sorry to ed again, i wont be gg for the band tw trip, i really want to go but no confirmation till now! I have to apply leave..sigh it is easier if u are still a student. Oh yes, ben! Wanna go hk anot? Because we are gg in first week of jun leh, the time when u are xoming home.
3. Actually no third item yet..
Gonna be working at harbourfront, for this two weeks. Not the whole week la. Vivo is a good place to gai gai after lunch but ex food :( but transportation provided by sis. Yay!

In the end, michelle went to watch '14 Blades' 錦衣衛 alone. Yes, alone, because
1) some have watched
2) some who want to watch but dilly dally
3) some are not even interested
To those who fall into the 3rd category, how COULD you guys not be interestd in a movie starring donnie yen?!!! ok, him aside, how could u all not be the least interested in good kongfu shows?! these kind of movie shouldnt be watched on dvd/vcd/laptop! it does no justice!
in any case, boo to those who didnt watch it. bleah! haha it was good! i love such movies, ancient chinese eras + gongfu powers = mich fav blockbusters!
main actress, 赵薇, is beautiful. I think when woman hits a certain age, they exude this confidence which is so mesmerising. I still remember watching her very first drama as a lead actress: huan zhu ge ge. Gosh, how young she was at that time! and now she has matured so beautifully. And she really has some good acting chops sia.
ok enough of main actress. how can i miss the main actor?! the wah-when-did-he-become-so-hot-and-i-failed-to-notice 甄子丹 ? donnie yen is so smoking hot! men are like wine. the older the better, except that maturity point is 50.
donnie yen is the 'it' kungfu star man...it is his time to shine. look at him:

i had a great shopping day with geri. we went orchard + 313 + watched movie. we havent done this for a v long time hor? everyone just needs a little retail therapy some time. today was shiok, and now i am having some monday blues :(
both of us bought stuffs... with geri who fancy blouses with lace crochet details in the front, and i was looking for a khaki/beige 3.4 pants... the zookeeper-safari colour. i found my pants at the very last min at one of my fav shops: espirit. not the shade of colour i was looking for, but the cut was nice! and i bought a plum coloured top from uniqlo. that is my fav colour for now.
i want to watch a movie this week... like the valentine day show, 14 blades etc. we watched little big soldier movie starring jackie chan and wang leehom. it is good! jackie chan movies nv fail me. i love "the myth" and "new police story". somehow, i think i like shows that depicts the warring states period of china... maybe i should borrow some books and brush up on the chinese history.
anyway, other than the good looker lee hom who looks so shuai at every angle... there was another actor who caught mine and geri's eyes.
劉承俊 who was the prince of wei. he looks really good with that long hair. (imagine orlando bloom in lotr and meitian in hua yang) at first i thought he looked abit gay... but everything changed when there was a scene when he was topless (he was injured). 6 pecs and those vein throbbing arms! those muscles were hidden!!! what a waste!
now tell me, is he hot enough??

my past weekend was good. how about yrs?
I managed to squeeze out some time and did some shopping after work on fri. I bought 2 tops which are of 'xi yang yang' colours! For bottoms, i bought a mango pants during sale period and havent gotten to wear it yet. Bought a bag from bugis village. Bugis village sometimes sell really nice clothes, but too bad! i could only window shop for clothes there. the size are ridiculously small there! Bought 2 new pairs of heels for work too :)
on sat, i went for the line dinner buffet. a treat from my sis because she received her bonus :) But i think it is vry ex. not VERY worth the money la. but luckily got 38% discount. had my fill of oysters + sashimi :)
what's up on sunday? AIRSHOW! even though weekiat called it the man-show, coz we took more photos with the guys(pilots+engineer specialist) than the planes! th weather was so hot! burning hot la. we were all burnt :( tanned during cny period... sian! had paternal side reunion dinner. good food once again! i am looking forward to cny, because of the yummy goodies :) just have to drink loads of water... because you guys know how vulnerable my throat is. after reunion dinner, i went chinatown with my parents to walkwalk... soak up the cny atmosphere. very crowded because it is the last weekend to cny. But the goodies are quite ex. hmmm, the stall owners should start slashing prices man! but i had my free 'guazi' and 'taiwan jelly+mochi'. Just grab and go. haha! no laa, not so cheapo la...my parents bought some. i think everyone should go chinatown and jalan jalan at least once during cny period. it is filled with the cny mood!
and i thought this week gonna be a bad week. mentor took leave for the whole week. but now, she decided to come in on fri (phew!) i thought i might not survive... but i guess i am doing fine la hor? i am able to do work independently. just that, i dont like to attend meetings alone. i hate to talk in front of people whom i dunno. i have 'stage fright'. heart will beat faster when i know it is gg to my turn to speak. because most of those meetings are weekly meetings to catch up on the work progress. but i think i did just fine for mon and tues. unlike last week which was terrible!
new pple are coming in... my cluster will be all the mananger+directors. one of them came yst. accent accent and more accent. australian chinese. i think he is quite young and is already a manager. sitting behind me.
oooh! and finally, i have a eye candy in office!! but too bad, he doesnt work on my level. accent accent and accent again. this time is uk accent. i have to go find out what his name is.
I cant wait for friday to come. i think everyone will be having the holiday mood. haha! and got company cny lunch. lo hei and angpow lucky draw are included! min angpow money = $8? so i should be at least $8 richer!

(imagine orlando bloom in lotr and meitian in hua yang) at first i thought he looked abit gay... but everything changed when there was a scene when he was topless (he was injured). 6 pecs and those vein throbbing arms! those muscles were hidden!!! what a waste!

my past weekend was good. how about yrs?
I managed to squeeze out some time and did some shopping after work on fri. I bought 2 tops which are of 'xi yang yang' colours! For bottoms, i bought a mango pants during sale period and havent gotten to wear it yet. Bought a bag from bugis village. Bugis village sometimes sell really nice clothes, but too bad! i could only window shop for clothes there. the size are ridiculously small there! Bought 2 new pairs of heels for work too :)
on sat, i went for the line dinner buffet. a treat from my sis because she received her bonus :) But i think it is vry ex. not VERY worth the money la. but luckily got 38% discount. had my fill of oysters + sashimi :)
what's up on sunday? AIRSHOW! even though weekiat called it the man-show, coz we took more photos with the guys(pilots+engineer specialist) than the planes! th weather was so hot! burning hot la. we were all burnt :( tanned during cny period... sian! had paternal side reunion dinner. good food once again! i am looking forward to cny, because of the yummy goodies :) just have to drink loads of water... because you guys know how vulnerable my throat is. after reunion dinner, i went chinatown with my parents to walkwalk... soak up the cny atmosphere. very crowded because it is the last weekend to cny. But the goodies are quite ex. hmmm, the stall owners should start slashing prices man! but i had my free 'guazi' and 'taiwan jelly+mochi'. Just grab and go. haha! no laa, not so cheapo la...my parents bought some. i think everyone should go chinatown and jalan jalan at least once during cny period. it is filled with the cny mood!
and i thought this week gonna be a bad week. mentor took leave for the whole week. but now, she decided to come in on fri (phew!) i thought i might not survive... but i guess i am doing fine la hor? i am able to do work independently. just that, i dont like to attend meetings alone. i hate to talk in front of people whom i dunno. i have 'stage fright'. heart will beat faster when i know it is gg to my turn to speak. because most of those meetings are weekly meetings to catch up on the work progress. but i think i did just fine for mon and tues. unlike last week which was terrible!
new pple are coming in... my cluster will be all the mananger+directors. one of them came yst. accent accent and more accent. australian chinese. i think he is quite young and is already a manager. sitting behind me.
oooh! and finally, i have a eye candy in office!! but too bad, he doesnt work on my level. accent accent and accent again. this time is uk accent. i have to go find out what his name is.
I cant wait for friday to come. i think everyone will be having the holiday mood. haha! and got company cny lunch. lo hei and angpow lucky draw are included! min angpow money = $8? so i should be at least $8 richer!
