yawn..this week is the march holidays but still, i'm going to sch on mon, wed and fri for band prac. arhh..i'm not complaining. yesyes we should have more practices, since syf is coming *05.05.05* and we aint that great and prepared yet. furthermore..guess what, rj is playing the same choice piece as us, all right lets' not pour cold water..but they are good. neat articulation. smooth-like-a-wind running notes. ok shall not say le..but we can do it too!! jiayou bah we still have time.
yep had sectionals from 830 to 1030 and we were at the audi classrooms there becoz some classes are taking their chem spa and we didnt wan to disturb them. for sectionals, we tune every note and it kinda helped when we were playing in combine. that is for sure, but still, later part of combine, we became out-of-tune again. i have a feeling..someone always think it is me who caused the clashes...hmm but i m quite in tune with vivian what... maybe some of the notes have frequency waves..but couldnt be all the notes play-able on the flute right? nvm i could be just too sensitive la..becoz...haix hard to explain, so forget it.
vivian and i got too bored when the others are tuning..so we did some qigong and dancing..ok we're high and crazy at times only la..i think everyone is used to our sane-ness. a big pity, li sheng didnt come..and so yaocong took us for combine. yep there were at least some constructive advices to us and we will work on it. YEAHYEAH, lunch-time. hmmm..yuenleng went back to malaysia so 1 makan-khaki is gone. we looked for zuxian but she was going home for lunch *awwww*. hmmm vivian and i thought of rachel!!! she's an oboe junior who is very nice and easy-going. we decided to jio her along, together with haosiang. we just asked if she wanna go orchard jack's place for lunch, and a quick decisive YES returned. hahaha shuang!
t
hen almost immediately after band, we left for the mrt. but was caught up in anti-comm meeting, but somehow we managed to sweet-talk baowen and he ended his closing speech in 10 min. woah! a 15 min train ride from bedok to orchard, and we managed to reach there at 2.27pm, just in time to take orders for set lunch. we waited...for at least 15 min...to be SEEN by that proud manager. so what we are students! realli!! it sound unpleasant, but yes u shouldnt despise us, we have the money to pay, thus we have the rights ok. she asked the lady *who came LATER than us* how many for a table and stuffs...and turned a blind eye at us. pissed! we complained of course.
but anyway the fire in us were extinguished by this lady waitress. she was very warm and nice unlike that fat manager outside at the cashier. whatever. we ordered the student set meals..it was really worth every cent. 7.20 inclusive of gst : soup of the day, garlic bread, main course, desert and a coke. going to orchard jack's is splendid. they served mango ice-cream plus they have pepper fish pasta. wah! worth the wait man. but for that mere 7.50, u cant expect half a chicken cutlet. we ended up not-that-full. as..vivian michelle rachel haosiang didnt have anything throughout the day, we decided to walk to taka to dine at crystal jade. to have french toast. haha haosiang and rachel were quite shocked. but nvm, in the future, vivian michelle and yuenleng will jio them as our makan-khakis..yeahyeah, to eat cheap, worth-the-money delicious food.
hahaa..hmmm yummy man. i like the afternoon tea set french toast. though i might have to run like 5km if i indulge in them, but...when the craving comes, u cant stop it la..it costs 2.50, abit ex..but i dun think i can make that at home. then we still had abit of time, we walked to taka food court and...hmmm the smell tempted us laa...vivian cant resist the bread papa cream puff...and i cant stop myself from giving the cashier 2 bucks to have 3 octopus tako pachi balls...rachel were kinda of tramatised by our eating spree. haosiang..having a 27 inch waist, he could afford to eat the octopus balls and ice cream. yes...my fave but cant. i have to control for once. it was a great day out with vivian, rachel and haosiang. we bid each other byes at 6pm and headed home. i still managed to have my dinner la..haha ok i feel like a pig...save me man..shall start dieting when sch reopens? ok..let me think about it kk...
