it has been cobweb years.....

all due to my sore throat.. it has been 2 weeks??? very long fourteen days, no fried food, no sugar-ed drinks, no this and that. now, by just seeing the pills colours, i know it is to be eaten before or after food.

online starts to get abit boring for me, perhaps i onli chat with a few groups of pple... and i dunnoe how to find other entertainment like gaming online or what-other-thing-u-can-think-of. so i went to read my mama's magzine : her world

oh anyway this week feature was : class reunion or bragging party???

haha this topic is quite close to heart.... consider the fact i have just graduated from jc bah... and recently just had sec2 class gathering.

hmmm i like reading this mag, because the things they featured are like based on real life experiences and encounters, and i can relate quite easily to some topics. like this one.

ok it is more abt when u are a working adult or going-to-be-mum or married housewife, and then u had a class reunion and it talks abt the process right from preparing yourself for the "big day", to the meaniest things u can ever hear from yr supposed to be fellow best gfs from class, to ending the day with " this is my name card, i am working for....... i can introduce some products/there is a line of new credit cards promos....."

endless.

i say, these reunions are sort of life-checkpoints ( got the hint from jb custom checkpoint) . " it is a time to check each other out and keep score..." one lady said. it is quite true.

my sec class gathering usual qns are " which sch are u studying at?" "taking what subject?"

now... are "u got work not? where are u working?" , "hey... got boyfriend not?" , " wah!!!! you've grown slimmer/fatter....", " eh... you look different/same LEH.."

maybe next time...." which uni u graduated from?", " no boyfriend yet arh? why arh?", " like OH MY GOD..... you getting married???????" , "what position are you holding?"

sigh.

all these qns are quite "harmless" to me, because they are like what i call straight forward qns. a typical qns and an answer. that's all. but some pple, as they grow up, their usage of words also "grow" to become more HEN. when they speak, sometimes, it has hidden meanings, or maybe you kanna suan by them and poor you, you havent realised it...

i dunnoe how to explain it, but some pple really think they are more mature than their other classmates, then they start saying things which they themselves dun think it is quite suan-ing... maybe they think they have grown up and "big" enough to talk big and comment abt other pple. for example, their make-up, dressing, right up to the kind of macasra they use. and not forgetting the bragging and comparing.....

give me a break.

and please, dun compare.

haiz. some pple. anyway class gatherings are good. i hope next time BIPO will make it a point to organise at least two in a year, if time permits. i dunnoe if next time we still have cliques or still as close-knit and everyone is still as easy-going as before. i dunnoe la....

and a levels.
