i cannot stand slacking at home any longer, thus i went to swim. hmmm.. was satisfied with my progress. an intensive 45 min of swim. shuang! it has been some time ever since i hit the waters. when i went into the pool.... woah!!! i felt so relaxed!! and the pool was nearly mine *for a sec* before... 4 uncles came to accompany me. [--''']it was already 5 past 6pm, but i didnt wan to go home. most prob because noone will be home anyway, and i would be having dinner all by myself. so, i took a bus down to marine parade library. actually i intended to go these few days, i wanna check out on the 2 authors that jenny jie told me.okay. no luck. cant find even a single book written by the 2 authors. browsed through the whole library (except for the kids section of course) sad sia. but it was not going to be a wasted trip. i randomly went thru the shelves and chanced upon a book.it was a book which i would be interested in. romance, those kind of ladies book lar. i took the book, and found a nice corner to read it... stayed in the library for almost 2 hrs. i would recommend this book... although it can get rather confusing at the beginning. there are like ten odd characters in the book??? and... at one time, in a sentence, there were up to 4 names appearing!! maybe because i absorb info slower than usual, i tot i would be lost in the story. heng heng i didnt loh...title: Alphabet Weekends
author: Elizabeth Noble

ok. i thought i would forget the main characters' names. i didnt!!!!! tom and natalie. i shall say alittle about the story. but please pardon me, i am kinda boring and lousy.
ok. Natalie presumed for every guy she likes, it is paramount to 'falling in love'. And so, she fell in love so many times, and was hurt that many times. Tom, who was her childhood friend, once chided her off by saying that was not love at all, and that she should look for someone who will not disappoint her.it came to a stage whereby tom confessed his feelings to natalie. but things got sour after that. years passed, many i think, natalie and tom met up again, at a pub. natalie was heart-broken once again. ya, as usual. both met each other, but only cold, cynical replies were exchanged. Both still have feelings for each other. and this time, Tom took no chances. he wanted to try wooing natalie again. confidently, he told natalie to give each other a chance. give him 26 weeks and he was sure he will win her heart. tom suggested 'a game'. each weekend is represented by an alphabet, they will do an activity starting that letter on that weekend. and it will be alternately.so, first weekend, starting with Tom, the letter was A. next week will be natalie's turn, with B and so on.so, the first weekend, Tom brought Natalie to A: Abseiling... and the story continues...yep. so their dates had a theme. from A-Z. cool right??? obviously in the end, both of them got together. woah! i like this kind of ending!!!! ok... there was this phrase i found it quite romantic. On weekend X, okay, at this point, their relationship has taken a great leap from where they initially started. okay. at this scene, on bed, Tom used a marker to draw something on Natalie's chest. the letter X. and he said...."X. The penultimate but one letter. Marks the spot. Where your heart lives, and mine is now lodging...."yesyes. i speed read the book. finished all 26 weekends. was freezing in the library, because i didnt bring a sweater and my hair was wet!! okay, why didnt i borrow the book, so to read it at the comfort of my home? gd qns. i dun have my ez link, i dun bring my ic out and i forgotten to bring my library card. maybe i shall go back on sun, to find more of such books.
