arh, xin tong arh.really feeling the pinch loh.can really understand, the rich gets richer... and the power of brand equity.today had an expensive dinner with my parents at meritus mandarin. felt the pinch, because i dun think the dishes should cost that much lar... it is all in the name... sigh...
This was the first dish. KAOZ. it is SUPER small serving lar. just ONE prawn and some weird mushroom which taste super weird.
this is the tea. everyone has their own tea pot. kaoZ again can... because each pot of tea is freaking ex. and i forgot the price.
some small fried fish mango salad. anyway, it taste like the mango salad from lemon grass lar. the fried fish is not bad, but too EX le....
this dish taste quite nice. BUT freaking hell lar... it is a PATHETIC piece of egg tofu, spinach together with what king crab meat. it is super expensive. :(
this veg dish is.... anyway it has sea cucumber, some monkey head mushroom and the xiao bai cai or what lar.... ok only
ok this is the most regretful dish. king size prawn and scallops with PEA PODS! i hate pea pods larrrrr....
this is the best. grilled spareribs in some dunno what sichuan or what way lar...and some roasted potato....haiya. my father lar. see the price on the menu wrongly. the menu cheated this old man feeling lar... haha! he tot the price was for a dish. yes it is... for a SERVING FOR A SINGLE PERSON.duno lar. i felt the pinch for my dad lar. worked so hard... then the food is ok only... then priced at FREAKING ex price. and serving super small.... but he said nan de go to this kind of hc place to have dinner. ya... 35th highest floor of the hotel to have chinese fare.... can see the whole of orchard view... so what man! maybe because of the super freaking ex prices, the waitress there are very attentive... like 2 waitress for each table, and a manager took care like 3 tables only? they helped u pour the tea even though the refill was a mere 1cm in height. and they clear plates and utensils like noone business. this dinner is freaking ex. not to haolian or what... but just trying to say it is not worth it. it cost nearly 100 bucks... per person lar. can let me say the f word?
