unbelievable. been ages since i blogged???!! so busy arh? gosh, life "rockS" big time when sem2 started. yaya, i must cut down on all the words that will have negative influence over my studies. in dire striats liao!!!

just had an interest in reading all over again. and didnt know someone share the same preference of books. ya, the papers and yaling recommending me to read "fingersmith" and "night watch" by sarah waters. sorry dear, but for 2 nominations and u havent gotten the award. another book in 2 years time... hopefully yr style will be recognised.

yaling and i were chit chatting abt those booker prize winners. gosh. read the sypnosis of "inheritance of the loss" by kiran desai... not nice leh.. yaling said it was very literature. and all the winner books are like that!!!

checking up on the past booker prizes entries and the nominations. it wrote there " booker prize for fiction"... and i guessed i was crazy and tired... i went to type in "booker prize for non-fiction", hoping another list will come out. *ahem*, there is no such prize. -_-

my taste and ya are different. i prefer the modern kind... and she thinks the books i read are like stories of paris hilton!!! ya, GND!!!! just kidding! but =( leh... where got bimbo books! i only bought "confessions of a shopaholic" and "shopaholic and sister" by sophia kinsella. tot her books not too bad wat.

that day i saw the LAST BOOK of mitch albom "for one more day". i know it is the damn last book, because it was not only the ONLY surviving soul on the shelves, i went to ask the counter and she said it is currently out of stock. damn! actually i saw the book, then i tot i will come to get it afterwards. then when i was about to stretch my hands (ya! short lar, wth), another lady beat me to it, and proceeded to the counter. that's when i went to ask the counter and they said out of stock =( sad sad sad. my brother likes his books.

a number of newscasters\broadcasters\sports presenters watever shit, they are like jumping the bandwagon.. and decided to write their "life" stories. not biography or autobiography, but stories that evolved round them. hmmm...

went to the singapore zoo today. fruitful day. nice sunny-yet cooling day in the morning.early afternoon -heavy rain subsided to showers. good good. 2 diff styles of living environment my dear baboons will experience. for my animal behaviour modules, i am doing baboons.

hate monkeys, and now i have to do red butt-ed monkeys = baboons. but after observing them from like 1030 to 3... they are kinda interesting lar. and they only have s*x so few times, which makes our observations difficult already... they only last for 4-5 sec -_- so fast how to have baby baboon!!!! arrrrrh! (and the male bites the female at her bottom before..... wth!!!)

anyway, some of them have heart-shaped butts. ya, i told my whole group that it shall be called the heart shaped butt. pic will be up soon. and the other kind... is the tumor butt. totally VERY disturbing. and my grp mate yvonne kept taking photos of the tumor butt and each time she took, she will say " it's damn disgusting!" ladies, fortunately have normal red butts FULL STOP.

meeting them at 1015 and i woke up at 715am. ya to get ready. nono, i am not excited lar! because i am gg there myself and i dun really know the way there although i went to check what bus goes there. i have no idea the duration of the bus journeys, so better play safe, i left house early. yaya... and i reached the ZOO at 930am. super early. tot of buying the tix and go in to explore first, but at the ticket office i saw ben. good good... he's that early as well.. so went in tog to take a look....

barely know him. now, i know he is 2nd year geo student who is on a MOE teaching scholarship, he has a goatee (quite sexy i must say..),he drives a black car, he lives in yishun, he is cell group leader (christian -_-), he was super chao gen soldier, walks very slow (can really fight with me...), has rather weird way of eating his zinger burger (he does it in layers), he loves sheep (was abit deprived at the zoo), and he cant remember coming to the zoo at all.

seah, what abt her? she is rather tall (ok wth, who is shorter than me), she is a netball player, she doesnt speak mandarin (yes..), she knows nothing about music (she say one..), stats year one, and she thinks i have a weird way of eating my zinger burger as well.

yvonne, year one stats, she loves cheese fries, she has a tofu face (fair and no pimples), she is always late, she goes back home every weekend (msia), her favourite past time- stoning, she dislocated and fractured her arm before (happened in the same time), she has a crushed second toe and she again, DOESNT speak mandarin. yaya, both of them comes from acjc.

had rather a nice day with them. i tot i might be -_- sian to max. heng heng didnt.
