probability of me failing the probability test is quite high.but i wish...Binomial Distributionn = no of trials = 1 ( better be 1...)p = probability of success = 0.8 ( THIS is being super optimistic)..but.. i think FOR NOW, is p = 0.5see this..michelle did a probability test. there is 5 qns in the test. the probability of locals being able to do prof HMM's qns is 0.3. what is the probability of michelle getting ONLY 2 qns correct?X~B(5,0.3)the DESIRED probability= P(X=2) = (5C2) (0.3)^2 (0.7)^3= 0.3087 <---- OMG!!!!! let's be optimistic again...X~B(5,0.6)the DESIRED probability= P(X=2)
= (5C2) (0.6)^2 (0.4)^3
= 0.2304 <---- better?how about this?there is 5 qns in the test. the probability of locals being able to do prof HMM's qns is 0.3.what is the probability of michelle getting at least 2 qns correct?P(X>=2) = ** i use the binomial table... wait arh let me see..**= 0.4718 <--- whey, not even HALF lehlet's be optimistic again...
X~B(5,0.6)P(X>=2) = ** use the binomial table again...**
= ~ 0.87 <--- WOOHOO!feeling super high now...do u guys feel the high-ness with me? i am going crazy.
