lecturers are powerful and weird these days.

somehow, they can let students "fall in love" with them.
they also can make students "hate them to the core".

today i think st2131 lecturer aka my tutor saw my depressed face during tutorial. no choice man, the 16 qns for tutorials really looked greek and alien to me.

he asked everyone, "any qns?"
"why so long noone ask me qns?"
"you two over there, any qns to ask?"
"come on, dont waste time, time is precious... any qns you all dying to know the solutions?"

then later, he started asking one by one why nv ask him qns. replies were:
"too many to ask already, dunno start from which one"
"i dunno how to do almost all...."

these replies X10 times.

then, he sat down, in front of me and talked to the class.
"i know this course is not easy. i know you all have difficulties in this course because of......"
"but this course will be the most meaningful module you ever took in nus. this module gonna help you in your life forever. once you know how to use it, it will help you..."
"i dun want to set those kind of qns... because you can solve them easily. what differentiate a person good in stats is the combinatory and argumentory explanation..."

at least he knows we are really struggling. like crazy. i am. for sure.


understanding universe - dr phil.

why did i go mersing trip?! now i think he is a DAMN interesting guy. this dr phil is like super knowledgeable and rather humorous person...

i think we (or maybe me) going high over him.

phil: "there will be another star gazing trip, maybe this dec"
everyone: "yea man!! clench fist and pull back
phil: yar, i will let you all know the details, this trip i will not be going, clash with the academic calendar.
