Leap year leap day
29-02-08

as usual, michelle shall throw some confetti ****** into the sky!

just as i switched to news on channel5, i heard the broadcaster saying, "we saw a number of people taking a LEAP this year...". For a moment, i wondered what it could be. haha, there is an increase of couples ROM-ing on this special day. and the broadcaster made a remark at the end of the show, "less anniversaries to remember???!!" ok but that was not on her script, so she fumbled alittle huh.

so if you were born on 29 feb, u are supposedly to be "5 years old" even when you are actually 2 decades old. but still, 29feb is unique.

haha! i decided to do some blogging today since it is the leap year. hmmm, wonder will the date on the blog show 29-02-08? haha!

ok, it has been some time since i blog WITH photos. alittle lazy nowadays. shall update with pics since cny period bah.




made some tarts the week before cny. my larger-than-normal pineapple tarts. i took me the WHOLE wednesday. from 10am to 11++pm. my goodness! and i was on turbo speed already.
hmmm, it tasted good but lack alittle aroma. not as fragrant as my mum's or sis'. hmmm....




on the eve of cny, at 11.00pm, my sis, dad and I went to the waterloo street temple to pray. the place was very crowded with other devotees like myself. more people, more "atmosphere" but it was no joke when it comes to your turn to put the joss sticks. i was literally sandwiched and my sis bravely pulled me out from the crowd. i was almost cuddled to the ground liao. thanks to the 2 ladies too, who were shouting at people to give way to me...




how did we last through the eve night of cny? hahaha my bro and sis suggested drinking. we had Baileys with soft cake icecream!

we went to have some desserts at cheesecake cafe at siglap. haha ambience quite nice. i like it.. but their cheesecakes so so only. nothing fantastic. ok, please pardon my fat arm. stupid angle PLUS i havent been exercising.

haha the day when we decided to open a $10 room to have some "frenzy". hahaha we went to the 10bucks ktv at chinatown. i love it there because they have free flow of honey drink k!!! haha, and a rare guest ~benjamin!!!
