HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!and jie, happy birthday :)it's 4.02am, and i'm still pretty awake! what's wrong with my body clock? totally screwed as i always say. imagine ending lessons at 10pm on every mon and wed, ending sectional and band prac at 10.15pm on tues and thurs, PLUS ccs meeting on fri till 1040pm. so my daily weekday routine is sleeping late, wake up early to fetch sis to work, then go home to sleep till lunch time. it is not very good for my health and skin cells but thanks god it is my last sem :)alot of events happened this week. ok, mon-wed nothing in particular. thurs i went for nus career fair. ok, there are many booths but most of the companies (dso, psa, mod, keppel, dsta etc.) are looking for engineers. There were quite a number of job openings which required just a general degree but they are being a librarian, police officer, pilot, teacher etc. I walked from 11am-2pm and i only found 2 jobs that need statisticians. Credit Suisse and National Population thingy. I didnt dare to approach the angmohs from credit suisse, because i was unprepared to ask them any question. National population one looks pretty good, as they need us to help them analyze the data. I gave them my resume. Actually i am not exactly keen of running stats programmes and analyzing quantitative data, this is one job that i would not be fighting with ATs as they only accept singaporean due to the high security information. And this is NOT the time to be picky as well.I gave my resume to about 5 companies in total, but there are 2 companies which i couldnt remember! i spent some time at the customs police officer booth, and found out more about the job. Totally cool, my kind of my job: not boring 8-5, not very desk-bound, challenging and exciting! there was 3 big booths from SAF, and the officers (navy, airforce and one more which i forgot) look so fit and all are good-looking. BUT, they looked too manly, noone dare to approach the booth, i just stood a distance away, trying to read what's on the posters :( then at the fireman booth, actually i was just looking around, then the officer came to approach me, and i just asked him more about the job. He was friendly and told me alot of information and the whole conversation was really long and draggy. i didnt want to cut him abruptly, in case i was too rude or something. then i got a chance to do so, and i told him i didnt meet the height requirement of 1.61m then he ended, phew!i spent alot of time at the fair because yaling and I have different majors = different career paths! She wants something to do with biological sciences. she managed to give her resume to a few companies too :) good for her ya! and yes, i managed to give my resume to the caas. but i should apply online too. actually many companies told us to submit applications online, and some dont accept resumes at the fair.arh, i'm really lazy to start applying. that means must have the cover letter ready, then be ready for dreaded interviews and what's not. SO many things to fret over :( for now, i wished to say, i just wanna study!no wonder the adults say studying is the best.band... arh! from 645-1005, we only managed to play 2 songs? omg! i told my partner wth when he said start all over again at 10pm. ccs: nothing much to talk about the competiton because im very pissed with the way the director is doing some stuffs but, he's still the boss. so, his decision is final. bleagh. it is indeed VERY tough working under him. i dont think it is because he's a perfectionist, he is just too lor soh and worry too much. vday was really good. from initial date with geri to 3 singles+a couple. haha! we went to MS (our fave place) to have dinner at pasta waraku and desserts at that green tea icecream jap rest. actually the pasta waraku serves quite nice pasta and pizza, their servings are way too small! hello! i dont think buy-in-bulk pasta is that expensive. and what's with the corn? why so stingy with them? i like the biscuit thin pizza, i think the base is very nice and the saw-saw crust! love it. oh yar, i had pasta and 2 slices of pizza but i wasnt full. But desserts was sinful enough. Triple chocolate with soft icecream. YUMMY! best of all, the company was great! (if only we could play that texas poker :) )ok, time to sleep, starting to feel abit tired le. thanks geri for the lovely lime green clover goodluck carebear! add on to my collection. yar, michelle likes all these stuffed toys, im still a kid at heart. i totally love carebears simply because they are cute and i had fond memories of them in my childhood days :) i bet all girls would love carebears :) i should expand my carebears collection until my mum cant recognise which is new carebear! whahaha!! now i have lucky EIGHT carebears! whee!!!!!! loads of love!*** btw geri, i read yr blog about the "love's in the air" the posters in nus also have this phrase.
