I'm pretty sure I did post this song lyrics some time before, but I shall do it again. This song is nice :) Btw, i dont have the mp3 of it, who has? please tell me k!One Last Dance - Sarah Connor Just one last dance....oh baby...just one last dance We meet in the night in the Spanish cafe I look in your eyes just don't know what to sayIt feels like I'm drowning in salty water A few hours left 'til the sun's gonna rise Tomorrow will come and it's time to realize Our love has finished forever How I wish to come with you (wish to come with you) How I wish we make it throughJust one last dance Before we say goodbye When we sway and turn round and round and round It's like the first time Just one more chance Hold me tight and keep me warm Cause the night is getting cold And I don't know where I belong Just one last dance The wine and the lights and the Spanish guitar I'll never forget how romantic they are But I know, tomorrow I'll lose the one I love There's no way to come with you It's the only way to do Just one last dance
Before we say goodbye
When we sway and turn round and round and round
It's like the first time
Just one more chance
Hold me tight and keep me warm
Cause the night is getting cold
And I don't know where I belong
Just one last dance Just one last dance, just one more chance, just one last dance********************************************************Yesterday was such a tiring day! Thankyou joel, he made me the honourable member of mj alumni band, thus I can play for the concert with geri, weejuay, zhenghong, joel, benny, rickson and the others. We tried 2 pieces (rhapsody of hanukkah and Howl's Moving Castle) and had a nostalgic lunch at the canteen. Some conversations that made me laugh like mad.mich: eat in canteen? okies, what's nice??some guy: eh, nothing is nice in mj. (in a-matter-of-fact tone)mich: -_- (i saw joel and baolun queuing at the japanese food stall and went over)mich: heys, what's nice for jap?joel/baolun: orh, i dont know. i'm trying it because it is a new stall. eh! we each order different one lar!In the end, I chose the "never go wrong" option which was cai fan. After the band prac, i headed to expo. ok, maybe it was only me who was the mountain tortoise for the day, I had no idea that we needed to pay entrance fee for the travel fair. Do you need to pay for the previous 2 travel fairs at Suntec Convention? And how about the food fair? The fee wasnt expensive, but i was just shocked.i had placed my flute in my bag which stood out like taugay and was happily drinking my honey red tea and entered the hall. The security guard approached me quickly.guard: hey miss.......mich: *blur* orh! cannot bring drinks in, is it?guard: no... where is your wrist tag?mich: huh? what tag? *started to scan around and realised the people inside had worn a red visitor tag on their wrists*mich: hmmm, must pay to get in? (haha, i dont know whether to laugh at myself anot for saying/asking that. As I thought i was quite smart to guess correctly :)guard: yar, if you pay by cash is 3 dollars, pay by mastercard is 2 dollars, please go to the queue over there (to pay the entrance fee)mich: ok thanks. *felt DL and abit paiseh at the same time*But thankfully I didnt waste my time at the fair. I went around, collected info, checked out prices for newzealand and europe tour packages. Haha, for graduation trip with geri. I like dynasty package, but abit more ex than the rest! So going on sunday to book! :) WHEE WHEE and throws lots of confetti!Today I had to go down to school to fulfil my 5% star gazing participation points and attended a forum talk by Prof Jocelyn Bell. She is a visiting professor in Oxford and she is famous for her honours paper on pulsars. And it was this paper which won a Nobel Prize, but guess what? She didnt receive the Nobel Prize. It was given to her mentor instead. OMG! it was her paper, but the credits was given to her mentor? She became more famous because of this incident! But people from the circle still recognized her as a recipient of the award la. And it was really raining cats and dogs in the evening! Had to go really slow especially at the NUH area. They changed the lane spacings so many times till it is so winding and sharp! Because of the unforeseen weather, star gazing was impossible! Telescopes and radio telescopes were set up in the src field, but you just couldnt see anything except those grey clouds covering the whole skies. All moods were dampened. Maybe as I am blogging, clouds would have dispersed and star gazing is on at nus. Yes, there are a whole grp of them who are staying overnight. I should have stayed abit longer since i had the car. I was at the field at 8pm and waited till 930pm and all i could see was clouds and more clouds. :( sigh! Talking about star gazing, New Zealand has the world-first 'World Heritage Starlight Reserve' in the Lake Tekapo and Aoraki Mount Cook area in the South Island's Mackenzie Country. The conservationists are applying to the UNESCO for World Heritage Status. " Astro-tourism is an exciting phenomenon finding its feet and causing intense interest throughout the world.""A recent survey in Japan showed that 72 percent of people listed star gazing as the main reason they wanted to visit New Zealand"
"We have more than 1.5 million national and international visitors through the Lake Tekapo area each year. People are stunned by the scenery and now we say look upwards as well as around you. This clear, unpolluted dark sky here is one of our great assets - one so easily taken for granted and one so easily lost." WOAH and WOW! I cant wait to go New Zealand :)
