ok i will update about redang+ KL trip soon. I really enjoyed myself at redang. We did afew water activities like snokelling, canoeing and riding on banana boat. btw, is feeding the fishes counted? I saw corals and many different species of fish! Can you believe it?? POMFRETs swimming around you!!! They are the cutest (and delicious) fishes. I am sorry that I ate countless of your kind :)
Snokelling was such an experience and I think my parents would be quite thrilled to try it out. I think it is a safe activity for people of all ages. But definitely not the banana boat. my goodness. I was really quite scared when we heard the guide saying, please let go if you think you are going to capsize. If not, you will break your arm. My ex colleague broke her arm before, while arm wrestling and it was no joke. Healing back those bones is extremely painful. But the banana boat ride really pump up our adrenaline! Definitely not for the old and faint hearted. It is quite dangerous. You are literally "flung" out of your seat. After the first try, i was quite skeptical to continue. But heck it, it was uber exciting and i had fun screaming!
I am quite scared of fishes. Yar, actually im scared of most living creatures, such as birds, moths, butterflies, dragonflies (all the flying creatures) and scaly counterparts. So when zhenghong threw me that piece of bread and all the fishes swam towards me, that's it. I was scared and started screaming. -_- such a wuss. But at the end of day2, i began to have a love-hate relationship with the fishes. Maybe because the fishes at the beach is very timid and i had an enjoyable time feeding them with stale bread. but i still heart those stupid looking pomfrets.
I would love to go back to Redang again, and we should go to other pulaus as well, such as tioman, langkawi etc.
Although KL is not as exciting as Redang, we had our bit of fun share. I (yar, only me) had my KL BLACK hokkien mee craving satisfied (not the best, but im still happy). We had really cheap and affordable food in KL (dollar for dollar, WOW!). We had krispy kreme (not up to expectations) and surf the net in the store. We went Zouk to have a taste of "overseas clubbing scene". Although shopping is disappointing, I think most of the stuffs are cheaper than in singapore. Actually I didnt mind going KL at all, i just like to go for a short getaway (to anywhere). But if i were to choose where to LIVE in, singapore will still be my top choice. I cant stand the traffic conditions, the insecurity i feel and many more. I had to keep a close eye of my belongings at all times. And the drivers there are totally "bo cheng hu".
To sum it all, the trip was GREAT! Another PLUS point, it is that i dont need to use my brains. (i sound so stupid right?) Yep, everything was planned by ben and we just have to ask him, where are we going today? what are we going to eat for lunch/dinner? what are we doing today? Arh, i love it man! That's why I would always prefer a tour group rather than free and easy trip for countries i have never been to. I am very amazed by the fact that he actually went online to search for discount coupons (OMG!), thus earning him the nick of "lin sao". That's not all, to get to midvalley shopping centre, he found out that we could actually go to this hotel opposite our concorde hotel and take THEIR free shutter bus service to the shopping centre. Simply amazing!
I did some shopping :) bought 1 top from mooks, 2 tops from zara, 1 sweater from (arh i forgot the name!), 2 pairs of shoes from vincci and 1 pair from bata. No bottoms or bags though. But no more shopping le. Except for the g2000 clothes which i will be getting this sat, for work!
I need to get a new wallet. And i saw a couple of nice ones!
French purse in raspberry, super chio
Zippy Coin Purse in Rose Pop. I nearly gotten this for myself some time ago. I resisted. But it looks super chic right?
I like my wallet to be like this style. The compartments and the zip coin compartment.
I havent done anything to reward myself :( maybe i should lose that 7kg huh? That's how much i need to lose to be deemed fit, according to that fitness instructor. -_- i think the probability of me getting the wallet is higher than the probability of me losing that amt of fats in my body, in the same time frame.
